The project was inspired by the majestic “Vandutch 75” and was designed showcasing minimal changes that would portray the difference between the contemporary Dutch design and the design that was created. The structure has been developed to provide a sleeker frame for the yatch with a bow seating lounge for 3 to 4 guests that would provide the opportunity of leisure, to enjoy the ride and take in the view ahead of the bow. The colour scheme and the name has been influenced by the Greek mythical creature the PEGASUS the winged horse that some claim struck his hoof to the earth, an inspiring water spring. The yatch has a complete carbon fibre hull for better performance and manoeuvre on the water. We opted for a reserve bow and larger aft sunbed.The propulsion system used for the Pegasus is the Volvo Penta hybrid concept.
